Producer
I am a freelance sound-engineer and producer from Egypt / Germany based in Berlin.
My sound was influenced by different genres like Reggae, Psychedlic Rock, Hip-Hop, Soul & Egyptian Music.
Since I started working in Berlin I´ve had the chance to work with multiple esteemed international musicians from different genres.
As a producer I combine my musical influences and aim to create a mix of those genres in an unique way.
My aim is to create a style in which those genres can enrich each other and help me and the artists / musicians involved explore new sonic worlds and find cultural connections and parallels.
May 3rd I released my first album “Son Of Nile”
It’s a collaborative project I have been working on for 4 years and it’s a reflection of my musical and personal influences and upbringing.
The amazing singers / artists involved in its creation are : Haile Supreme, JuJu Rogers, Kumar, Nalan, Khadija, Serious Klein, Gianni Suave, Alxndr London & Jermaine Peterson.
Sonically it is a mixture of some of my favourite genres: reggae, Egyptian music, psychedelic/progressive rock, Hip-Hop, Soul & Trip-Hop.
